I have seen firsthand the joy a musical visit brings to a kid in the hospital. It’s kinda like magic. For at least a little while, the child has a pal to hang out with, to sing and talk with, to bang on rhythm sticks and hum kazoos and shake maracas and tell stories and just have fun with. It’s a play day away from needles and procedures and worries.

I am so grateful for your support of Pickleberry Pie during this fundraiser. Because you all showed up we reached our goal. It may not look like it quite yet, but we have some checks coming in that will take us over the top, plus the matching grant! This means we will be in good shape for 2025 and be able to increase our services to reach more children and families with uplifting music while they are dealing with difficult medical issues.
