A favorite song soothes a child who is in pain. A patient joins me in song with exuberant energy - despite the IV lines, giving her tired parent a bit of rest. For families waiting to go to yet another appointment in the clinic, with many to go before the day is over, music is a joyful distraction - and they get to bring home a colorful shaker! I am so grateful for your support of Pickleberry Pie during this fundraiser. Because you all showed up we reached our goal. It may not look like it quite yet, but we have some checks coming in that will take us over the top, plus the matching grant! This means we will be in good shape for 2025 and be able to increase our services to reach more children and families with uplifting music while they are dealing with difficult medical issues.
