The Washington Metropolitan Gamer Symphony Orchestra (WMGSO) is proud to present our Fall 2026 full-ensemble production: Nightshades.

This concert has been programmed with a collection of arrangements inspired by Hollow Knight, NieR: Automata, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and more.

Students and Seniors can use the codes STUDENT or SENIOR to save $5 off their ticket price.

We are also offering a 50% off coupon code for federal employees who have recently lost their jobs. If you are a federal employee who has been impacted, please provide your information in this Google form and we will reach out with the coupon code.

Online tickets sales end on Saturday, November 21, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern (Noon). This concert that will be livestreamed to both Twitch and YouTube!

In-person tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $29.

By entering the auditorium and sitting in the orchestra (lower) seating area, you consent to being filmed and to the use of your appearance in our concert streams and videos. If you wish to opt out from being filmed, please find a seat in the balcony section.

More About WMGSO

The Washington Metropolitan Gamer Symphony Orchestra (WMGSO) is a volunteer community ensemble that celebrates, transforms, and showcases video game music by producing accessible concerts in the D.C. area and online. We have over 150 active members participating in our full orchestra and choir, and we arrange and perform music exclusively from video games!

Because most video game music is not written for an orchestra and choir, our musicians must transform the original compositions into an orchestral version called an arrangement. Arranging is one of the most challenging and rewarding aspects of what we do.

The vast majority of our repertoire was arranged exclusively for WMGSO by our own members. Our music is based on a wide range of video games: classic to new, popular to obscure. Several of our arrangements also draw on and incorporate classical works and traditions, making them even more unique and special. We’re nerds who are committed to the source material and the classical art.
