💛 In Memory of Hal Edgar & Pete King Legends of Riverside Soccer This team is dedicated to the memory of Hal Edgar and Pete King, two men who helped grow the roots of soccer in Riverside long before it was popular. Pete, originally from England, owned the only soccer shop in town, a place that was more than a store—it was a clubhouse, a gathering place, and a hub for anyone who loved the game. Hal Edgar was there nearly every day, sipping coffee and talking shop with Pete. Their conversations—about AYSO matches, players, tactics, and dreams for the sport—carried a passion that lives on in every kick of the ball in our community today. They may be gone, but their impact remains. Donations made to this team will go toward supporting local youth players and honoring the soccer legacy they helped build. We can only imagine the conversations they'd be having today. We’re proud to carry their love for the game forward.
