The Tampa Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Inc., Queen of Hearts Committee, takes this moment to express our sincere gratitude for your generous support of our fundraising efforts. Your contribution will go a long way in helping us achieve our goal of providing student scholarships and supporting educational programs in the Tampa Bay community.

Over the past decade and in partnership with D.E.L.T.A. Inc., we have awarded almost $200,000 in scholarships and book stipends to qualifying high school seniors graduating from Hillsborough County public, private, charter, and parochial schools. The chapter withstood the challenges of the global pandemic and successfully led efforts to increase voter participation in all elections, while boldly disseminating COVID-19 information through virtual town halls. We engage with more than 125 students through our Delta Academy (girls ages 11-14), Delta G.E.M.S. (girls ages 15-17), and EMBODI (boys ages 11-17) mentorship programs, which are nationally recognized throughout our organization of over 300,000 members. Under the International Awareness and Involvement umbrella, the chapter has presented community-based programs to increase cultural awareness, promote understanding of displaced individuals, and increase knowledge and safety related human trafficking.
