I have been a part of Cricket's Hope since Cindy and I first dreamed about offering the Art Restores Kids program almost 8 years ago. It's been amazing to see how the organization has grown over the years, and the impact it has had in the lives of local kids who have been affected by trauma.I am honored to serve as the current Chair for our Board of Directors.
With schools closed due to covid, the time that our kids spend with us at Cricket's House is more important than ever. They count on us to provide safety, security, compassion, and love while building self awareness, resiliency, coping strategies, and most of all HOPE. Hope transforms trauma! Many of the kiddos we started serving when the ARK program launched are the same kids we serve today. We are family. We love our kids and we do whatever we can to give them hope.
