I first was introduced to Cricket's Hope three years ago when I became interested in volunteering with the Stanislaus Justice Center. Once I met Cindy Schneider, Director of the program, and learned it's philosophy and goals, I immediately joined the volunteer team. I have been working with Cindy, Jessica and many college students to instill the seeds of hope for the children of Orville Wright Grammar school. Under Cindy's guidance, we have been able to reach out to children with art projects, utilizing the Window between Worlds art programs. The children learn not only to be creative, but can express their true feelings and stories in a safe loving environment. There has been tremendous growth in our program over the past three years touching the lives of many students in the multiple schools including middle schools. Cricket's Hope offers a summer camp opportunity to the participating students as well, providing them with an opportunity to experience nature and to enhance their self esteem.

Right NOW we are raising funds for our Art Restores Kids (ARK) program. Please help us reach our goal of 80K. This year we had both a virtual event (here online) and a Private Showing at two gorgeous homes in River Nine, Del Rio (the Homes of Matt & Mary Carol Henderson and John & Edith Jacinto).
Click the Art & Donate Button above to see the art that was in the show and it is the place to make a donation.
