At the beginning of this school year (sophomore year), I joined the Newman Catholic Students Association at Penn State. The decision to join this club was one of the best decisions of my life, as I have met so many wonderful people and grown so much in my faith.
As I have grown in my faith I have also grown in my love and appreciation for God's gift of life. I truly believe that all life should be cherished no matter the circumstances. We are all created in the image and likeness of God. That pretty much sums up the entire reason why we are Pro-Life.
It's not enough to just voice our opinions that all life is sacred though. We are all called to show the world how important it is to protect life. Supporting pregnancy resource centers is one of the best ways we can do that. They provide mothers with the resources and care they need to be able to safely raise a child when they otherwise would be unable to. On top of that, they develop relationships with these mothers which promote the value in the lives of both the mothers and the babies.
That is why I am riding with Biking for Babies this year. I want to use the gifts that God has given me to support those mothers who need our help. I encourage you all to do the same by making a donation of any amount you are able to. Thank you, and God bless you all!
