When our community response teams get a call in the middle of the night, it’s usually because a local family has hit a wall. Over this past year, when the raids hit our community and left our families in absolute crisis, we didn't just offer advice. We answered the call, stepped into the gap, and helped carry the weight.

Because of that commitment, we have supported over 200 families, put over $100,000 directly into emergency relief, and a year later, we are still on the ground continuing to help them rebuild.

That is the heart behind SW WA LULAC Council 47013. For 15 years, we have been building a comunidad where no one has to figure it out alone. Now, on October 15, 2026, it is finally our turn to bring everyone into the room to lift up our people, celebrate our beautiful cultura, and ensure our teams have the strength to keep responding to those late-night calls.

This evening is going to be incredibly powerful. You will hear directly from the local familias whose lives have been changed by this work, alongside a special keynote speaker. The reality is, the entire nation is watching what we are building right here in Southwest Washington. Between clearing over a million media impressions a month, bringing home 4 national awards, and being featured in over 10 major articles, the country knows our town, and we expect leaders from all over the nation to be in the room celebrating with us.
