We really appreciate your support for our Take Flight 5k and 1 mile annual fundraiser. Last year, we were able to raise enough money to build a picnic pavilion, expand half an acre of greenspace, and rebuild the amphitheater. We hope to reach our goal of building needed swings sets, playground equipment, and covered 6 seat tables this year. We need your help. One hundred percent of the donations go back into the park. How many organizations can say that?

Runway Park was created by funding raising, individual donations, and a grass root effort to inspire our next generation to fall in love with aviation. The park is still maintained to this day with funds generated by field trips, donations, and this annual fundraising event. You help put a smile on every child's face when pilots wave as they taxi out or when they see a plane land or take off right in front of them. Everyone can enjoy that at the park. The Greenville Downtown Airport has continuously supported our community and Greenville.

The Greenville Downtown Airport was created on November 11, 1928. We are coming up on our 100 year anniversary soon. We would love to have you on board as we celebrate that continuous connection of service. We recently started the Greenville Downtown Airport Charitable Fund; a 501(c)(3) to facilitate our future plan of building an aviation education and outreach center in our Community Corridor.
