GFWC Clearwater Community Woman’s Club (CCWC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing lives in our community. Our signature initiative is to reduce the incidence and impact of Human Trafficking in the Tampa Bay area. To implement this initiative, CCWC has engaged local law enforcement, community organizations, and area sports teams – raising more than $50,000 last year to help establish a safe house in Pinellas County.

Human Trafficking is a fast growing crime and a $150 billion/year enterprise. Millions of men, women, and children are trafficked worldwide each year and Florida ranks 3rd in the US for reported cases of Human Trafficking. Tampa Bay, a major tourist destination with exceptional amenities, sports, and other attractions, is a hot spot for trafficking. A community-wide effort is needed to address this pressing problem and you can be part of the solution!

The Champa Bay Elimination Dinner is a sports-themed fundraising event that includes great food; silent and live auctions with sports memorabilia, jewelry, art, and vacation packages; games, and more.
