We are the statewide association of children’s advocacy centers in Ohio and our mission is to promote the establishment and success of Multidisciplinary Teams and Children’s Advocacy Centers by providing support, education, and networking opportunities to enhance Ohio’s response to child abuse. In fulfilling our mission, we empower local centers with knowledge and resources to serve victims of child sexual abuse, physical abuse, and more.

In 2024 our member centers served over 10,000 abused children by providing forensic interviews, medical exams, counseling, and other coordinated services. This resulted in children services identifying approximately 2,000 cases which were found or had reason to believe that abuse had occurred towards a child.

In 2024, law enforcement filed charges on approximately 2,000 cases that were involved with children's advocacy centers and of those, about 800 were accepted for prosecution. Approximately 200 of these received convictions and approximately 330 reached plea agreements, with the longest sentences being for LIFE.

Any donations received will support the Ohio Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers in providing direct services to local centers such as:

Training and technical assistance
Membership resources
Funding acquisition
Establishing statewide partnerships
