At the heart of the Senior Chef Showdown is a simple but powerful idea: great food can bring people together — and change lives.

Now in our third season, this exciting live cooking competition features talented chefs from senior living communities across Central Florida, all going head-to-head in the kitchen to showcase their skills and creativity. But there’s a twist:

🥒 This year's required ingredient? SQUASH!

Whether it's roasted, pureed, grilled, or spiralized, each chef must incorporate squash into their signature dish — and you get to taste them all! The audience and a panel of local celebrity judges will decide who takes home the coveted Senior Cup!

The Senior Chef Showdown is more than just a night of fun and flavor. It’s a fundraiser with heart. All proceeds support Seniors First, a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating food insecurity and social isolation among older adults in our community.

Through programs like Meals on Wheels, homemaker services, and companionship for seniors living alone, Seniors First helps thousands of vulnerable seniors remain healthy, independent, and connected. Your donation helps fund these vital services and ensures that no senior is forgotten.

Driven by the mission of enhancing the quality of life of seniors, Seniors First, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is dedicated to providing services and resources for seniors that maintain their independence and dignity.
