The Sewing Labs invites you to an unforgettable evening celebrating creativity, community, and second chances stitched with purpose. Our annual Gala is more than a fundraiser. It is a heartfelt gathering that supports our mission to empower individuals through the textile arts.

Mark your calendar for Friday, August 22, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Kansas City Downtown Marriott. The evening will feature cocktails, music, a plated dinner, and powerful stories from our students. You will hear real voices sharing how The Sewing Labs has helped them gain employment, rebuild their lives, and reclaim their dignity.

Leading up to the event, explore our Online Silent Auction, running from August 1 through August 22 and closing at 8:00 PM on gala night. You will find a thoughtfully curated selection of handmade treasures, art, food, drink, and unique experiences.

Space is limited for this intimate celebration of transformation, resilience, and the thread that connects us all. Creative Cocktail attire is encouraged.
