We are calling on all of our Defenders to Assemble for the 2026 Big Celebration, proudly presented by Big John Steak & Onion. We have a SUPER Team...with Bigs, Littles, Volunteers, Community Partners, Sponsors, BBBS Staff, and Board Members all playing a vital role in our mission and we are sending out the signal to join your fellow Defenders for an evening dedicated to celebrating the champions of youth who make our work possible.

The highlight of the evening will be recognizing our Community Service Honorees, Years of Service Recipients, and Bigs of the Year. These remarkable individuals represent the very best of our community, using their unique strengths and commitment to help young people own their moments and make it Big.

Dinner, a cash bar, and entertainment throughout the evening will provide plenty of opportunities to connect, celebrate, and honor the Defenders among us. We look forward to an unforgettable night as we recognize the extraordinary impact that ordinary people can make.

Since 1944, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is incredible potential. As the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through young adulthood in communities across the country throughout Flint and Genesee County.
