During uncertain times, inner peace is one of the most valuable qualities we can possess. At Kadampa Meditation Center Washington DC, our job is to bring inner peace to the Greater DMV, one person--and one meditation class--at a time. We hold seven weekly meditation classes at our SW DC Temple, and offer special events, all designed to build a harmonious community of spiritual practitioners.

KMC-DC is open to everyone, regardless of religious affiliation, sexual orientation or gender. For our 2026 Bliss & Benefit Annual Giving Campaign, our goal is to raise $35,000 to install noise reduction in our main meditation room, upgrade our building, enhance the experience of our students and open branch class locations in other areas of the District, Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland.

By contributing to our fundraiser, you help us build our community and contribute to bringing inner peace to more individuals in the DMV. We are a non-profit and all donations are tax deductible. We are 100% volunteer run, and all donations go towards fulfilling our mission.

Join our community in the beautiful environment of Kadampa Meditation Center Washington, DC for a fantastic evening featuring a talk and meditation guided by Kadam Michelle, an illusionist performance, appetizers, a silent auction and a door prize. The silent auction is available online for anyone who wants to participate, and will include a wide variety of items.

Bliss and Benefit is the kick off for our annual giving campaign, which aims to raise $40,000 to add sound reducing windows to our meditation room, which will also lower our utility costs.
