Join UVSC (Us Versus Cancer) for an evening of Upcountry charm and purpose at the
3rd Annual "Catalyst for Hope" presented by Goodfellow Bros.

This special event brings together UVSC Heroes, business leaders, physicians, philanthropists, and community partners for an uplifting night dedicated to supporting families facing cancer. Together, we raise critical funds to provide direct financial relief to cancer fighters across Hawaiʻi through UVSC’s Financial Assistance Program and also help to advance life-changing cancer research and treatment breakthroughs.

OUR IMPACT: We help individuals and families facing cancer focus on healing instead of bills. When cancer patients have greater financial support while they battle their illness, they benefit from improved adherence to treatment, better treatment outcomes, and less risk of recurrence.

Today, UVSC’s Financial Assistance Program uplifts 50-60 cancer fighters and their family members (roughly 130 individuals total) in Hawaiʻi each year. We help cover a broad range of out-of-pocket treatment expenses and essentials, such as: travel (air, lodging, ground transport) for treatment, medical co-pays, utility bills, housing, food, medical devices, and much more. UVSC also supports cutting-edge research for a cure that gives families in Hawaiʻi greater access to clinical trials.
