Think your precious pup has what it takes to be a cover model? We invite you to bid on a spot for a chance to be featured in our 2026 GRRA Calendar! This year’s GRRA Calendar contest will be offering multiple options to choose from to give your pup their 5 minutes (or 30 days) of fame. Our calendar contest will run from June 1, 2025 - July 31, 2025.

We’re looking for shots of man’s best friend in whatever pose makes your heart melt the most - frolicking outside, lounging inside, partying with their feline friends, or showing off their personality in whichever pose they strike. The large monthly featured photo will be awarded to the highest bidder for that month, while smaller thumbnails featured on each month's lower part (where the actual days of the week and dates are) will be sold as first come first serve.

The calendar contest is a crucial fundraiser for GRRA as it helps us raise money to provide care for every dog that arrives in our program.

HOW DO I ENTER?

Register to Bid
Select your page from the choices of Front Cover, Back Cover, Rainbow Bridge Highlight Page, Small Photo, or Monthly Highlight.
Enter your bid amount
- $20 for a Small Photo (payment due at time of submission/bid)
- $35 starting bid for Rainbow Bridge Highlight (payment due at time of submission/bid)
- $100 starting bid for a Monthly Highlight or Back Cover
- $200 starting bid for the Front Cover
Upon notification of winning the bid via email, please send your selected photo (up to 3 photos allowed, GRRA will select the best photo for that slot) and dog details to us calendar@grra.com no later than August 3, 2025.
- Include your full name, your dog’s name, your dog’s photo (up to 3 photos, GRRA will choose the best for the month), and a brief write up of them which can include details such as their adoption story, a brief history of them and their journey to you, a funny characteristic, or a funny story. Please include whether or not this is a GRRA alumni as well as their GRRA given name for reference.
Highest bidder wins.
Payment will be required within 72 hours of contest completion, not at time of initial bidding. All bids are considered donations and are, therefore, tax-deductible
If payment is not received within the time frame allocated for the winner, the next highest bidder will be contacted.

WINNERS WILL RECEIVE:

Their photo displayed in their chosen photo category.

RULES FOR BIDDING:

The Front Cover and 12 Monthly Highlights will be bid on individually. You are welcome to bid on multiple months as well as the cover, however they should be different photos. There are also options to purchase a Rainbow Bridge or Small Photo option as long as it is a different photo.

Minimum bid is $200 for the cover and $100 for a month. No payment is required when you submit a bid. Winning bids will be notified via email at the close of the contest on July 31, 2025. Payments will be due in full at this time. Should your payment not process within 72hrs of the close of bids, the next highest bidder will be declared the winner.

Photos must contain a GRRA alumni OR a golden retriever (with non golden canine friends is permissible). Please omit all humans from photos, we love you but this is about the dogs.

BUYING A CALENDAR:

Starting October 1, 2025, 2026 calendars can be purchased for $20 at in-person GRRA events or for $25 on our website www.grra.com (price includes shipping & handling).

PHOTO SUBMISSION PARAMETERS:

Personal photos only, no professional photos will be accepted.
All photos must be unedited and submitted in high-res, jpeg format with at least 720×450 pixels (The BIGGER the BETTER)
Physical photo submissions will not be accepted.
GRRA alumni and golden retrievers are eligible for submission (other family pets may be included)
Photos with humans in them will not be accepted.
Photos must be non-professional images; no copyrighted photos accepted.
Rainbow Bridge Highlights should be vertical photos. All other photos should be horizontal.
Small photos can be placed anywhere in the calendar of GRRA’s choosing.
You can make multiple bids/submissions, but they must be with separate dog photos.

By submitting a photo, you agree to allow Golden Retriever Rescue of Atlanta (GRRA) all reprint rights to the photo without license, limitation, or compensation. All submitted photos will be the property of Golden Retriever Rescue of Atlanta, who may use the photo as deemed necessary in this calendar or any other future marketing event. GRRA is not responsible for any errors, loss, or damage regarding the photographs/entries. All contestants agree to release and hold harmless GRRA, all sponsors, and representatives from all claims or actions, they, their heirs, executors, or assigns may have arising directly or indirectly from this contest. Winner’s consent to the use of their name for advertising and/or publicity purposes without compensation.
