Art for Humanity: Featuring the Works of Karen Neely

We are honored to share that Humans of San Quentin has been generously gifted four original pieces by Karen Neely, a Northern California artist born in Monterey and beloved throughout the Bay Area.

Karen is widely recognized for her dedication to miniature and small-scale paintings, a form of art that requires extraordinary precision and attention to detail. Her stunning works have inspired us and encouraged many of our incarcerated artists to explore the power of creating within a small frame, where every detail carries meaning.

These one of a kind pieces were generously donated by Karen to help support our mission of sharing art and stories from inside prison walls with audiences across the country. All proceeds from their sale go directly toward helping incarcerated artists share their work and voices with the world.
