Amanda Gorecki, Moderator:
Amanda grew up in the Mon Valley region. She pursued her education at the University of Pittsburgh, where she fell in love with the city and earned a degree in Urban Studies and Communication & Rhetoric. Her passion for events led her to a career with the USGA. Amanda transitioned into radio and is the co-host of the Y'd Awake Morning Show from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Y108, where she brings her vibrant energy and love for the city to listeners every morning.
Lisa Horton:
Lisa is the co-head coach/offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Passion, for which she previously was their quarterback for most of 15 years until 2018 after passing for more than 18,000 yards during her career. She was a 14-time All-Star, named the league MVP, and led the Passion to 3 national championships. Lisa is also a coach for Slippery Rock University. She previously held coaching assistant fellowship positions with the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns. Lisa was inducted in both the Women’s Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame at the Heinz History Center.
Michael McKenry:
The Fort spent 7 seasons as a catcher in the Major Leagues with Colorado Rockies, Pittsburgh Pirates, and St. Louis Cardinals, wrapping up his pro career with a AAA National Championship. He is currently a Pittsburgh Pirates analyst, coach, mentor, and USA Baseball contributor.
Robbie Mertz
Robbie is entering his sixth year with the Riverhounds. Mertz, a graduate of Upper St. Clair High School in Pittsburgh’s South Hills, was a fourth-round MLS draft pick of the Colorado Rapids in 2019 after his college career at Michigan. In total with the Hounds, Mertz has 18 goals and 19 assists — one of only four players with at least 18 of each.
