In Montana, the rivalry between the Griz and the Cats is legendary. But this weekend, the competition on the field is matched by a remarkable display of unity off of it.

We are humbled to announce a one-of-a-kind auction featuring two sets of brothers from opposing sidelines who have come together for a single cause: The Delaney Doherty Memorial Scholarship Foundation.

Two Teams. Four Brothers. One Mission.

The Gillman brothers (Eli and Monte) from the Griz and the Dowler brothers (Taco and Caden) from the Cats have generously autographed sets of their jerseys to help us light the way for future students. These young men are more than just elite athletes; they are shining examples of our Foundation’s tenets: #LiveLikeD and #BeALight.

About the Auction Items

We are auctioning two exclusive, professionally framed sets. Each set will be a centerpiece for any fan's collection, framed by Shane Hollingsworth with Sunset Rustic Design in Butte:

The Griz Set: Signed jerseys from Big Sky Offensive Player of the Year Eli Gillman (#10) and rising star Monte Gillman (#0).
The Bobcat Set: Signed Gold Rush jerseys from Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year Caden Dowler (#5) and All-Conference Wide Receiver Taco Dowler (#14).

Why We Give: Honoring Delaney Doherty

Every dollar raised through this auction goes directly to providing scholarships for area high school students pursuing college or trade schools.

We created this foundation to honor the life of Delaney Doherty, a vibrant 17-year-old whose life was tragically taken by an impaired driver in August 2023. Delaney was a 4.0 student, a standout multi-sport athlete, and the incoming Student Body President at Manhattan High School. Most importantly, she was a young woman who was good to everyone she met.

By participating in this auction, you aren't just winning a piece of Montana football history—you are helping Delaney’s light continue to shine through the dreams of local students.
