The longest running and largest fashion show for Muslim women in North America reaches a 40th year milestone this year. Themed “The Celebration continues: 40 years of Sunnah Elegance, Rooted in the Sunnah Sealed in Sisterhood.”

The Celebration of the Sunnah show now rebranded Sealed Nectar has entertained thousands from around the globe, and many agree it’s more than a fashion show, it’s a celebration. The sisterhood of the Atlanta Masjid is grateful to Allah for your support, and we invite sisters of all ages to join us as we honor four decades of legacy, faith, and timeless style. We are grateful as well for our Honorary chairperson Ayesha Mustafa, she says she is marking her calendar, Insha Allah, she will be in attendance.

Coordinators Amira Wazeer (past) and Naimah Abdullah (current) have teamed up together and invite you to a four-day luxury experience August 6th thru August 9th at the curated Starling Hotel. Part of the Hilton’s Curio collection located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta at 188 14th ST. NE. A vibrant, upscale escape for creative souls who set the status quo aside. Rethinking the urban experience in every sense. Did I mention the sweeping skyline views found in every room?

Elevate your experience, come early for the Legacy Crescendo Fashion Show long weekend and stay for the spa, fine dining, eating halls in abundance, roof top pool and the cultural and architectural revolution visible throughout the city. They say Atlanta is best known for its food, especially lemon pepper wings “WET”. What better way to start the long weekend than an early morning free guided Foodie and Cultural walking tour on Thursday August 6th. Tip: Arrive on Wednesday the 5th so you can be ready to start the day early on Thursday.

This is an intimate exploration of heritage and flavor, designed for discerning travelers who seek both enrichment and indulgence in one unforgettable experience.

Jumuah at Atlanta Masjid will be followed by the Celebration Fest with curated vendors and artists, mini fashion shows, intergenerational storytelling, scavenger hunts and of course food, food, food.

Saturday morning Quran Shakir and certified midwife Adilah Muhammad founders of Celebrating Sacred Connections will host an “engaging session centered on womb reverence, feminine wellness and the sacred rites of passage that shape a woman’s life. Participants can expect meaningful dialogue, insight, and practical wisdom that celebrates the beauty, purpose, and reverence for the journey from girlhood to elderhood.”

Adilah asks us to ponder:” who were our foremothers and what are we setting up for our granddaughters to come-it’s all about womb insights”
