On one night every year, we invite all in the Pangea community to gather in person to celebrate our progress toward creating a more literate world. Our annual gala is more than just an opportunity to inspire support of our mission, it is also a chance for all of us to step out of our daily lives and into an event where we can dress up, dance, and delight in the joy that comes from being together.

At the 2025 gala, we are centering this joy with our theme of Play! We know that when learning is joyful, it makes a deeper impact, and that’s exactly how we design our literacy programs. This year, you’re invited to indulge your inner child while making a difference. From dueling pianos to a packed dance floor and international games, every moment will be filled with fun and connection. Boosting literacy is serious work, but we believe joy fuels its success and we plan to have a ball while doing it.
