We Are One Heart Foundation announces the 5th Annual Soul Shaker Gala – an event to raise money for seniors requiring respite and long-term care.

The event is designed to help seniors bridge the gap between their needs and available resources. It was started by Pat T. Nixon, President of We Are One Heart Foundation Inc., who saw the need to make meaningful contributions to seniors and their families. The 2025 inaugural event raised almost $25,000.

In addition to the previous Annual Soul Shaker Gala and other annual programs, sponsors, and volunteers, We Are One Heart Foundation was able to fund a total of $66K in living assistance grants in 2023 - 2024.

This year’s theme is Denims & Diamonds; Cowboy Chic. Guests are invited to dress in Western attire. For guests who want to really experience the wild west, a bull is available to ride – Yeehaw! A ticket includes dinner, and a photo booth keepsake.

This fun-filled event allows guests to come together for a common cause: to improve the quality of life for seniors in their golden years.
