Hosted at ICON Lounge, the 1st Annual TPAN Gala is THE annual fundraising event and silent auction raising funds to support the transgender advocacy network. This semi-formal, semi-casual event hopes to raise in excess of $50,000 to support our lobbying efforts in Pierre and advocate for our transgender community.
Story
As you know, South Dakota's legislature is not friendly to all South Dakotans. The transgender community is constantly being pushed into the margins if not outright discriminated against. The Transformation Project Advocacy Network (TPAN) is on the ground in Pierre every year, protecting the rights of ALL South Dakotans. We need your help. On February 9th, TPAN is hosting a fundraising Gala and Silent Auction.
What would your participation mean to TPAN? Honestly, your attendance may be life saving. Transgender individuals are more likely to face discrimination, and nationally, 41% of transgender individuals report attempting suicide. Faced with the constant barrage of "otherness" and discrimination, your participation will afford TPAN the political lobby to continue working against these harmful bills and for a better/safer South Dakota.
