For 40 years Brick Bodies has promoted physical and mental wellbeing to our communities in the greater Baltimore area. This milestone anniversary is dedicated to raising vital funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, a cause deeply meaningful to our family in loving memory of our late CEO, Vicki Brick-Zupancic.

Victoria Lynne “Vicki” Brick-Zupancic, passed away from ovarian cancer on April 8, 2025, surrounded by family. Born in Towson, Maryland, Vicki’s life was defined by passion, perseverance, and love.

A standout athlete and natural leader, she led McDonogh to a #25 national basketball ranking before earning a scholarship to the University of Maryland, where she captained the Terps to their first NCAA Tournament win under Coach Brenda Frese and was a four-time All-ACC Academic honoree. She symbolized a dedicated woman in sports and carried that with her into the fitness industry.

Following her inspiring basketball career, Vicki joined the family health club business, Brick Bodies, and rose her way to CEO. Vicki’s greatest joy came from time spent with her family. She was the beloved wife of Evan T. Zupancic and the cherished mother of Jordan A. Zupancic. Her bond with Jordan was rooted in love, laughter, and shared passions for tennis, basketball, and dancing. Vicki’s devotion to her daughter was unmatched; their connection remains eternal.

Vicki embraced life fully, whether working out under the sun or lighting up a room with her contagious energy and radiant smile. In recent years, she became a passionate advocate for ovarian cancer awareness, using her own experience to encourage women to trust their instincts and speak up about early symptoms. Her advocacy reflected her lifelong commitment to empowering others, especially women leaders, and inspiring future generations.

Vicki’s legacy is one of courage, compassion, and boundless love. Her presence was larger than life, her passion unmistakable, and she had a gift for making everyone feel seen and valued. Her strength lives on in those who knew her best, especially in Jordan’s heart, where it will remain forever. May her memory continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
