Twenty-five years after the attacks of September 11, 2001, we gather to remember the lives lost, honor those who continue to answer the call, and stand beside the families who support them.

Join us for A Night to Honor Our Heroes, a special evening benefiting First Responders of the Triad.

Proudly hosted by Venture X Greensboro and sponsored by RLR Wealth Management, this event brings together local businesses, first responder organizations, and community leaders for an evening dedicated to remembrance, gratitude, and meaningful impact.

Every day, first responders answer the call in moments of crisis, often placing the needs of others before their own. FROT aims to return the favor, offering direct support to first responders in a variety of ways.

Following the tragic death of Greensboro Police Sergeant Philip Dale Nix, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation paid off the mortgage on the Nix family home, providing stability during an unimaginable time. Inspired by that act of compassion, First Responders of the Triad partnered with Tunnel to Towers to advance a shared mission of supporting fallen first responders, catastrophically injured veterans, and their families.

That same commitment was evident after Hurricane Helene, when First Responders of the Triad partnered with the Western North Carolina Firefighters Association to help more than 75 first responder families recover from devastating property losses.

Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, auction bid placed, raffle entry entered, and donation made directly supports programs that assist first responders and their families when they need it most.

At 6:30 PM, guests will gather for a special 25th Anniversary 9/11 Tribute Ceremony honoring the courage, sacrifice, and service that continue to inspire us today.

Together, we can honor the legacy of September 11 while ensuring the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting others know their community stands behind them.

What time is the event?

This is a floating, open-house-style event, so guests are welcome to arrive and depart at their convenience. Doors open at 4:00 and the event ends at 8:00. There is no required arrival time; however, guests who would like to hear the remarks should plan to arrive before 6:30 p.m.

Will food be served?

Yes. Food will be available throughout the entire event, so guests may enjoy it regardless of when they arrive.

Will bar service be available?

Yes. Bar service will be available throughout the entire event.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is casual. Please come dressed comfortably and ready to enjoy the evening.

When will the band perform?

The band is expected to begin playing at approximately 5:00 p.m. and will perform two sets during the event.

When will the remarks begin?

Remarks will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. Guests who would like to hear the program should plan to arrive before that time.

When does the silent auction close?

The silent auction will close at 7:30 p.m. Please make sure all final bids are submitted before the auction ends.

Are tickets required?

Yes. A purchased ticket is required for entry. Tickets may be purchased in advance online or at the door, if tickets are still available.
