WHO ARE WE:

Absolute Love Adoptions (est, 2003) is a nonprofit adoption agency based in Erie, PA, serving clients all over Pennsylvania. Our services are designed to educate and empower those in the adoption community.

Our programs fill gaps in the industry in the areas of education and wellness for birth parents, adoptees, and adoptive parents. In addition to offering free counseling to expectant parents, our most impactful projects include:

SOLACE: Our line of care packages for birth mothers, SOLACE, are available for purchase. They are also gifted to waiting birth moms through sponsorships from donations. They serve to send a "hug in a box" to Birth Mothers as they process the grief and loss after placing a child for adoption. For many women, this gift is one of the only times they feel recognized in their motherhood.

EDUCATION: Our quality, research-based education is available to adopting families during the home study process and addresses common challenges in adoption around openness and birth-adoptive parent relationships. Our surveys show that 100% of participants report increased competency around adoption.

ADVOCACY: Our team continues to lead the education and advocacy behind a bill introduced in January 2026 that seeks to outlaw unlicensed individuals in the adoption space in PA, ensure birth mothers have legal representation in adoptions, and mandate minimal educational hours for pre-adoptive families in Pennsylvania. We continue to seek opportunities to protect vulnerable individuals in adoption.
