The Grossman Burn Foundation’s mission is to improve the lives of burn survivors and their families by advancing comprehensive, compassionate care through sustainable partnerships in the United States and around the world.

Founded in 2007 as the philanthropic arm of the Grossman Burn Centers, the Grossman Burn Foundation was established to extend life-saving burn care beyond hospital walls and into underserved communities. Under the leadership of Dr. Peter H. Grossman, Director of the Grossman Burn Centers, and his wife, the Foundation is headquartered in Los Angeles County and works to close critical gaps in access to care for medically disadvantaged and low-income individuals.

GBF is deeply committed to building local and in-country capacity through trusted global and community partnerships. By combining burn prevention education, access to specialized treatment, and long-term recovery support, the Foundation helps ensure that survivors and their families receive the resources they need to heal, rebuild, and move forward. Through its work in the United States and internationally, the Grossman Burn Foundation remains dedicated to delivering sustainable, life-changing solutions for those affected by burn injuries.
