***Registration is open, items will be visible and available for bidding on July 11th*** After five years of not being able to hold an art auction, Clarksville’s Downtown Artists Co-op is happy to announce the DAC’s 2024 Art Auction is this July 11 -20. We are pairing with Givebutter, a well-respected fundraising organization. Members of DAC have donated works of art which will be displayed in the Spires Gallery at DAC, 96 Franklin Street, Clarksville, TN, as well as on the auction website. A link to the auction website and instructions on registering to bid can be found on our website, dac.gallery. Anyone wanting to show your support of DAC and have the chance to bid on beautiful, original art can participate. Items offered include paintings, photography, woodwork, pottery, and jewelry. All bidding will be done on-line through the website. The auction officially opens at 5:00 PM during the First Thursday Art Walk, July 11, and will end at 7:30 PM, Saturday, July 20. The beauty of this auction is that while the Gallery is not open twenty-four/seven, you can bid anytime, anywhere from your computer, phone, or other device (remember, all bidding will be online). Givebutter will keep you notified of the status of your bids! If you want to see the offered pieces in person in our Spires Gallery, the DAC hours are: Sundays noon – 4 PM, Tuesdays through Fridays noon – 4PM, and Saturdays 8 AM through 4 PM.
