"Upcycle Design" is an MYP elective course offered to 9th and 10th grade students at DC International School. At its core, students restore, market and sell used furniture that will otherwise be at the end of its lifecycle.

Throughout this semester, students have been hard at work creating the collection of furniture on sale now. Support the class by bidding on an item. All the proceeds will be reinvested back into the supplies for the class, funding the next semester of this unique course.

The furniture items for sale are the product of our first-year repair class, and as such, they represent a lot of love and a lot of learning. They won't be perfect, but they all tell a story of reuse, dedication and the creativity of our aspiring artists!

If you are lucky enough to win an auction and purchase a piece, we kindly ask you be willing to pick up the item from school.
