☁️ Angels Gate Cultural Center (AGCC) is thrilled to the moon and back to present Awake in the Clouds – a party by artists, for artists and their friends on May 24, 2025 from 6pm-9pm. Join us for a whimsical evening of high-flying performances, art installations, a silent auction, and a sky-themed costume contest. Proceeds go to support AGCC’s mission to provide space for artists to work and to engage the community through arts education, exhibitions of contemporary art, and cultural events. The sky-themed costume contest encourages everyone to embrace the theme (costumes admired, not required). Come as a cloud, a star, a bird, a plane—anything that might be seen in the sky. The most creative sky-inspired costumes will win prizes. The silent art auction will give partygoers the opportunity to bid on artwork by over 30 contemporary artists who make up Angels Gate Cultural Center’s vibrant creative community. The evening's ephemeral environment will include on-site, event-specific installations by AGCC Studio Artists Soft Chick and Henry Krusoe. The arts are vital to building and sustaining healthy communities. Beyond creative expression, the arts enrich everyone’s lives through connection. Your support helps AGCC continue to provide essential arts and arts education to over 20,000 community members. Four levels of sponsorship are available for community members who wish to provide even more essential support for Angels Gate Cultural Center’s exhibitions, arts education, and community programming. Friends of the arts who can't attend the party but still want to make an impact may select the Angel Sponsor option in the ticket menu to support the arts at AGCC.
