2024 Art for Policy Fundraiser

Join us for this year’s “Art for Policy” online fundraiser auction on March 26-28, 2024! Bid on original works from talented artists with proceeds benefitting The Policy Project’s ongoing efforts to advocate for thoughtful and upstream policy solutions benefitting women, children, and communities experiencing intergenerational poverty in Utah and beyond. The auction will take place from March 26-28, and at the close, each item will go to the highest bidder. We extend our sincere appreciation to all the artists who have generously donated their artwork and shown support for The Policy Project.

The Policy Project

The Policy Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, non-partisan organization that promotes solution-based policy solutions that remove barriers to opportunity for women, children, and those experiencing intergenerational poverty. Our unique approach fosters support for these policies through impassioned grassroots movements, fueled by public-private partnerships, education, events, rallies, and extensive relationship-building. Because many barriers can and should be eliminated, we have the responsibility and desire to work for healthy, equitable policy for the future of our collective children, our nation, and our world.

The Policy Project’s initiatives to remove barriers to opportunity include “The Period Project,” “The Teen Center Project,” and “The Safe Child Project.”

THE PERIOD PROJECT
Through “The Period Project” we have passed a law requiring free period products in all K-12 schools in Utah, made Utah the first U.S. state to provide free period products in all state-owned buildings, and launched the global "Period Positive Workplace" initiative. We continue our work to end period poverty with the belief that a lack of access to period products should never keep someone from full participation in their education, employment, or civic life.

THE TEEN CENTER PROJECT
Through “The Teen Center Project,” we secured funding for over 70 Utah high schools to build essential resources such as food pantries, laundry facilities, and mental health support and are working to ensure students and families in need are connected to community resources.

THE SAFE CHILD PROJECT
In Utah, one in seven children experience sexual abuse before the age of 18. “The Safe Child Project” aims to shed light on this issue and emphasize the need for preventive measures. We are working to strengthen the existing Utah code to ensure that all K-6 students have the opportunity to receive sexual abuse prevention education.
