But not every child has the opportunity to experience this enriching early education. That’s why we are hosting our Second Annual Rooted In Community: Forest Friends Scholarship Fundraiser—to ensure that all children, regardless of financial circumstances, can join us in the forest to play, explore, and grow.

Nestled in Issaquah, Washington, Forest Friends Preschool is more than a school—it’s a community. Our outdoor, nature-based program fosters creativity, curiosity, and social-emotional growth, preparing young learners for a lifetime of discovery. Through hands-on experiences, children develop a deep connection with nature and with one another, laying the foundation for a brighter, healthier future.

Unfortunately, the cost of early childhood education can be a barrier for many families. That’s where our Scholarship Fund comes in. This year, our goal is ambitious but essential: to raise $50,000 to provide scholarships for local children. With your support, we can break down financial barriers and open the forest to every child who dreams of learning beneath the open sky.
