Story

The feeling of excited anticipation when you're expecting company. The warmth of a hug. The friendly competition of a game of chess. The comfort of good conversation. The satisfaction of learning something new. The purpose in mentorship. The belly laughs.  The joy of friendship.

We invite you to join us at LBFE's annual gala, Friends on the Harbor, to prevent loneliness & isolation in our community. The gala is at the Hyatt Regency, Boston Harbor on Thursday September 21, 2023 at 6:00pm. Bring your friends and raise a glass honoring the resiliency of our older Boston neighbors and 44 Years of intergenerational friendships, community & programming!

Your attendance, donation, or silent auction bid ensures that LBFE Boston can continue its mission of companionship, compassion and community to older adults across the city of Boston.
