The Standing Up for Black Mothers and Babies Annual Awards Gala, organized by Generate Health, serves as a crucial platform advocating for inclusive policies that support Black families during pregnancy and parenting. With a legacy spanning over twenty-six years, Generate Health has collaborated with hospitals, health centers, and community advocates to address maternal and infant mortality while promoting the overall well-being of Black families.

This year's Gala Fundraiser represents a significant milestone in St. Louis's ongoing pursuit of equality in maternal and child health. Scheduled for Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 5:30 to 10:00 PM at The Ameristar Casino Conference Center in the Discovery Ballroom, the event welcomes individuals committed to enhancing equity in Black maternal and infant health.

We anticipate over 200 community members and stakeholders will attend, coming together to foster solidarity, draw inspiration from the honorees, and embody the core values of Generate Health. The evening will feature a silent auction, a wine pull, live entertainment, and a sit-down dinner.

Proceeds from this event will bolster Generate Health's mission to promote racial equity in pregnancy, family wellness, and community health, igniting a transformative wave of progress in Black maternal and infant health. This positive change aims to usher in a new era of wellness, benefiting not only Black families but also the broader community.
