Matthew Goudeau is lead at the philanthropic initiative #StartSmall. He formerly served in the administrations of five mayors of San Francisco in appointed positions at Grants for the Arts and the Mayor’s Office of Protocol. He has also worked in arts philanthropy at The Chinati Foundation in Marfa, Texas and The 500 Capp Street Foundation in San Francisco. Matthew has served on the boards of Friends of the San Francisco Public Library and ArtCare, and is a volunteer with the St. Anthony’s free clothing program. Matthew holds a bachelor’s degree in politics and a St. Ignatius Institute certificate from the University of San Francisco.
