The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, a program of BHcare is devoted to raising awareness about domestic violence and its impact on society. Our mission is threefold: to empower those affected by domestic violence by providing advocacy and support services; to promote social change aimed at eradicating domestic violence; and to serve as a resource for the community to help create a safer and more secure environment for all.

We provide crucial services to clients across 19 towns in Connecticut, supporting over 5,000 individuals in the past year alone. At UCDVS, we believe that everyone deserves to feel safe and secure in their own homes, free from the threat of violence and fear.

Our program is designed to provide practical assistance and support to victims of domestic violence while also working to create a safer environment that breaks the cycle of violence.
