Invest in the Art of Black Business

Building Opportunity. Strengthening Businesses. Expanding Economic Impact.

The Art of Black Business Fundraiser & Awards Reception is more than a celebration—it is an investment in the entrepreneurs, business owners, and leaders who are helping shape the economic future of the Greater Washington region.

The Greater Washington DC Black Chamber of Commerce (GWBCC) works to strengthen the ecosystem in which Black-owned businesses operate by expanding access to capital, contracts, leadership development, workforce solutions, advocacy, strategic partnerships, and new markets.

As the needs of our business community continue to evolve, so must the resources available to support them.

Meeting the Challenges Facing Black-Owned Businesses

Entrepreneurs across the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia are navigating an increasingly complex business environment. Access to capital remains a challenge. Procurement opportunities can be difficult to identify and navigate. Businesses need stronger networks, skilled talent, relevant technical assistance, and direct connections to decision-makers and market opportunities.

At the same time, economic and policy shifts are creating new challenges for organizations working to ensure that Black-owned businesses remain visible, competitive, and positioned for sustainable growth.

GWBCC serves as a connector, advocate, convener, and resource for this business community. Investment in the Chamber allows us to deepen that work and respond to the needs of businesses at every stage of growth.

Where Your Investment Makes an Impact

Workforce & Apprenticeship Development — Building partnerships and programming that connect small businesses with workforce solutions, apprenticeship resources, talent pipelines, and opportunities to strengthen their teams.
Advocacy & Economic Opportunity — Elevating the voice of Black businesses and engaging public- and private-sector leaders on policies, programs, and investments that affect the regional business community.

Your Investment Extends Beyond One Evening
