Dogs and attire We welcome dogs on leash (no retractable leashes, please) and invite you and your dog to wear creative black tie attire. To respect our purpose, we request no furs be worn. Program Featuring great food, a cash bar, DJ, honorees, silent auction, awards for best dog and human creative attire, giveaways and more! Mark your calendars and join us for an unforgettable experience that’s appropriate for the whole family! About Franklin County Animal Rescue Franklin County Animal Rescue celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2024. Franklin County Animal Rescue promotes the health, wealth and humane treatment of animals in Northwestern Vermont and provides temporary shelter for them with the goal of finding them permanent homes within the community. Annually, about 1,000 cats, kittens and dogs are helped – 500 find new homes and another 500 animals and people get 1:1 support, pet food via community food panties, lost-and-found support and many other services. If you cannot attend Paws in the Park, please consider making a donation to Franklin County Animal Rescue. Proceeds will benefit Franklin County Animal Rescue, a 501(c)3 nonprofit with charitable status and EIN 03-0275269. Contributions are tax-deductible minus the fair market value of $65.
