On any given day in Eastern North Carolina, there are families quietly navigating rough waters. Stretching meals, searching for steady ground, hoping for a little wind at their backs to get back on course.

At RCS, we sail alongside those families. Not ahead of them. Not in place of them. But with them: offering food when the pantry runs dry, shelter when the night feels endless, and a steady hand when the next step feels uncertain.

It's not just services. It's stability. It's dignity. And above all, it's hope.

This October, we're inviting our community aboard for something a little different: an evening where storytelling, imagination, and impact set sail together.

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, guests will step into the Haunted Histories Gala: Tales of the High Seas, an immersive maritime adventure filled with mystery, music, and moments that feel like slipping through a portal to another world.

But beneath the fog machines and the lantern light, something far more meaningful is at anchor.

Every ticket. Every sponsorship. Every bid. It all becomes real, tangible support for people right here at home. Behind the scenes of this unforgettable night, your partnership helps provide:

Nourishing meals for families who are struggling to keep food on the table
Safe shelter for individuals charting a course toward stability and a fresh start
Supportive services that connect people to the resources they need to rebuild

Guests will enjoy a themed dinner, live entertainment, and both silent and live auctions, all designed to bring the spirit of the high seas roaring to life. But the true treasure of the evening won't be found in the décor or the performances. It will be found in the lives changed because someone chose to show up.

When you partner with RCS, you're not just sponsoring an event. You're helping keep hope within reach for families who need it most, and you're strengthening the safety net of Eastern North Carolina in a way that outlasts even the last note of the band.

We'd be honored to have you join our crew. Sponsorship opportunities are outlined below, and we'd welcome the chance to connect with you about how your support can make a meaningful difference.

Thank you for being part of a community that believes in care, dignity, and second chances. Fair winds, and we hope to see you on deck.
