Thank you for being here. Your gift to the Irvington Education Foundation goes straight to the students, teachers and classrooms that make Irvington schools special.

Right now, IEF funding is at work in every Irvington school: 13 grants totaling $125,358, with 100% campus participation. That means hands-on science, coding, literature, and enhanced classroom experiences, across all campuses.

Highlights from our 2026-2027 grants include:

District-Wide:

Music Performances and Workshops: Professional musicians will bring performances and workshops to every student in the district, introducing a wide range of musical styles and the cultural and historical traditions behind them.

High School:

Classroom Upgrades: Newly upgraded, curriculum-aligned classrooms are already benefiting students. These flexible spaces support individual and group work and are designed around the needs of the block schedule, serving current and future students alike.
Virtual Reality in Social Studies: A new VR program takes social studies students on virtual tours of important historical sites, such as the Colosseum in Rome, without leaving the classroom.

Irvington Middle School:

Shakespeare Residency: Back by popular demand, this program immerses eighth-grade students in Shakespeare's works for several weeks through acting, stage management, and more.

Main Street School:

We're funding student favorites, including iCamp Coding sessions, the very popular Giving Retriever program, a Nature Connection Retreat, and the Emriver Stream Table which lets fourth graders model rivers and erosion.

Dows Lane:

We're proud to continue sponsoring Bringing Literature to Life and to launch two new programs: STEM Night and First Grade Creature Features.

Student-Led Grants:

Bulldog Bytes, the high school robotics team, participates in major competitions and does hands-on demos for younger children at community events
Record Room, a student-led grant, provides high schoolers with a space to listen to records and CDs and experience music the old-fashioned way

Your donation now funds the grants for next year, so this kind of learning keeps happening. Irvington's schools are feeling the squeeze as operational expenses like healthcare and transportation keep rising, leaving less room for innovation, upgrades and extras that spark curiosity and joy. Your generosity fills that gap, and every dollar makes a difference.

As the IEF itself continues to innovate, there will not be a major year-end benefit this year. Instead, we invite you to give here, to the campaign that has become the IEF's most reliable source of funding, and to join us at smaller events throughout the year.

All donations at any level are welcome and appreciated. IEF is a 501c(3), and all donations are tax deductible.
