Through transparent policies, affordable classes, robust scholarships, and community outreach, Onward plans to foster the next generation of comedians. This initial fundraiser will allow us to begin hosting community events, start programming classes, and begin our search for a dedicated space.

Onward Theatre is a non-profit organization based in Atlanta designed to be an inclusive environment that celebrates the diverse voices of the ATL comedy community.

Our mission is to uplift the voices of underrepresented groups in comedy.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are not empty buzzwords to us. They are foundational to our core. We believe that for any organization to take diversity seriously it has to start at the top.

Leadership has to reflect the talent you want to see within your organization.
Outreach must speak to the audiences you want to delight.
Communication must be intentional, transparent, and constructive.
