At the heart of Japanese culture lies a deep respect for animals, kindness, and community. From the beckoning Maneki-neko (Lucky Cat) believed to bring good fortune, to the cherished role of cats in Japanese folklore and daily life, and the 150 cat cafes in Japan, our feline friends have long been symbols of prosperity, protection, and companionship.

This year, Topeka Whisker Warriors 501(c)(3) in collaboration with Topeka Cat Cafe and Chen Liang, Local Realtor is honored to host a special fundraising auction at the Japanese Cultural Celebration, blending the spirit of generosity with our mission to care for rescue cats and find them loving homes. Every bid placed and every item won will go directly toward providing the care and love for vulnerable cats in our community.

Each year, hundreds of cats find themselves homeless, abandoned, or in need of urgent medical attention. Topeka Whisker Warriors is committed to giving these cats a second chance by providing a foster home at Topeka Cat Cafe—but we can’t do it alone. Your participation in this auction will help fund the continued care they deserve.

In less than 7 months we have facilitated over 280 adoptions!
