For 60 academic years, King of Kings has provided a robust Christian education in Roseville, MN serving students in grades preschool through 8th grade. It all began with a vision from 18 families to bring a Lutheran school to the north metro area. On September 8, 1964, the doors opened for the first time with 18 students in grades 1-3. Some of these students and charter members are still active in the congregation today.

Our mission is to make known the love of Christ through word and deed, within our church, community, and world. Throughout the first 60 years, God has blessed King of Kings with 741 students graduating from 8th grade. The increased demand for private Christian education in this area has provided a steady incline of enrollment dating back to the beginning. To help serve our families, four building projects have happened during this time. This year with enrollment being at an all-time high of over 160 students, we are starting conversations for a fifth building addition to help fulfill the vision our charter members had before the first brick was even laid.

As we reflect on how God has worked through King of Kings these past 60 years, it seems only right to start planning for the next 60. October is the month to help us kick off our "60 + 60 Campaign." This campaign is a combination of how to fulfill our current needs based on the blessings from these first 60 years, to secure a legacy for the next 60 years (and beyond).

The "first" 60 in the campaign is our goal of raising $60,000 for scholarship money to be used next year. This is what is needed in order for us to provide an opportunity for 1/3 of our families to help make Christian education a reality for their children.

The "second" 60 in the campaign is our goal to raise $60,000 for our school endowment fund. Once we reach this goal, we will be able to use the interest earned from the endowments as another form of financial support for our families attending school at King of Kings.
