About PAVE Centre

The Portland Arts and Vocational Education (PAVE) Centre, founded in 2018 in Port Antonio, Jamaica, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering young people through vocational training and mentorship.

Our main campus, PAVE Folly, offers a wide range of programs that combine hands-on training with personal and professional development. Students are educated not only in technical skills but also in self-worth, academics, and life skills to ensure long-term success.

Culinary Arts – Kitchen Cook, Restaurant Server, Catering & Baking
Hospitality – Front Desk Operations, Housekeeping, Guest Services
Industrial Security – Security Practitioner training with practical placements
Entrepreneurship – Business planning, finance, and launching new ventures
Interior Decorating – Design, staging, and decorative techniques
Construction & Woodwork – Hands-on carpentry and building skills
Arts – Creative expression through fine and applied arts
Math & English Enhancement – Academic support for career readiness

With a holistic approach that blends technical education with character development, PAVE has helped hundreds of students transition into meaningful careers or higher education. Through strong partnerships with local and international organizations, PAVE continues to transform lives, strengthen communities, and create pathways for economic independence.
