When I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, the world didn’t just shift it cracked open. I faced months of grueling treatment, isolation, emotional strain, and the quiet fear that my story might end before I had a chance to write the best chapters.

What saved me was more than medicine. It was community. It was the YMCA’s Livestrong cancer survivor program, where I found others fighting the same battle. It was my husband, Onolee, a Navy veteran who stood beside me through every uncertain step. And it was art, digitally creating it, seeing it, and sharing it that gave me the strength to keep going.

In 2024, we founded The Mabazza Foundation to pass that lifeline forward.

We create and donate powerful, museum-quality digital artwork some of it born from my own recovery journey to help nonprofits raise funds for cancer support and mental wellness. Every item and print we donate helps ensure no one has to fight their battle alone, we also directly sell customized printed artwork with the proceeds going toward cancer survivorship programs.

But we can’t do this without your help.
