Expecting a child can be an overwhelming experience—especially for a mother who lacks support. At Martha's House of Hope, we believe every mother deserves a dignified and respectful birth. We provide a loving, family-style home for pregnant women, focusing on empowering them to become self-sufficient while nurturing their spiritual, emotional, and intellectual growth throughout pregnancy and early motherhood. Our mission is rooted in bringing the love of Christ to all who seek refuge here.

To support this mission, we invite you to join us for our 5th Annual Gala – Sunsets at the Rose. This enchanting evening will take place on Thursday, September 25th, beginning at 6:00 PM, at the beautiful Rustic Rose Barn in Roland, Iowa. All proceeds from the event will directly support the mothers and babies we serve.

We are thrilled to introduce a few exciting new elements this year:

A dessert auction featuring decadent treats you can bid on to support our cause.
Catering by the delicious Aunt Maude’s, with entrée options of main street chicken or tri tip steak. If you have special dietary requests, please email us at executivedirector1@marthashouseofhope.org or include a note with your ticket purchase.
Our event will be emceed by Rachel Leigh, Program Director and afternoon drive DJ at Pulse 101.7FM in Des Moines (also available locally in Ames on 95.5). Rachel brings a warm and dynamic energy to the evening, and we’re honored to welcome her!
Live guitar music by George Olson will set the mood during cocktail hour and leading up to dinner.
