We need your help building on the 22 acres of land given to expand Meals on Wheels, and now we urgently need to raise $500,000 to complete the site work that will turn this gift into a life-giving anchor. This center will not only be a strategic food distribution and production point but will also anchor and fuel multiple future sites across our counties so that every grandparent in need has a seat at the table. In 2024, we provided 891 Grandparents with:

5 meals weekly (All with Scripture).
A weekly devotional.
Weekly visits with a delivery driver that cares.
Opportunities for Care Team visits, some leading to Salvation & Baptism.
Gifts for Valentines Day, Easter baskets, flowers for Mother's Day, mugs with letters for Father's Day, teddy bears with handmade crosses, personalized recordings with a cake, Thanksgiving turkey, personalized Christmas, and so much more.
1,549 handwritten cards for holidays, birthdays, and condolence cards to the families of the 61 Grandparents that passed away in 2024.
A Family of brothers & Sisters in Christ Jesus who care about them not just in spirit, but in presence. We stand together, showing up, reaching out, and walking alongside them in love and support.

In 2024, with the help of over 400 volunteers and our community, we ministered to or helped:

Over 159 high school students.
Hundreds of HGTC staff and students, provided with 1,920 free meals.
Multiple local businesses needing their day of service.
Countless people in need of community service.
Hosted/empowered multiple missions teams from out of state.

Since 2009, we at Meals on Wheels of Horry & Georgetown County, have become a trustworthy and important 501 (C)(3) tax exempt organization, that continues to help restore purpose, identity, and hope to those most in need in our community.
