Founded in 1985, Miriam’s Promise exists to offer hope and healing to expectant parents, birth parents, children, and adoptive families coping with issues of grief, loss, and transition. The heart of our mission is to ensure the well-being of the child by nurturing individuals and families. We meet this mission by offering non-directive, option-based pregnancy counseling at no charge to the client, child counseling, and adoption-related services.

This year, we are moving our annual gala, Celebrate the Promise, back to Nashville – a homecoming after years of celebrating in Franklin! We are so excited to be back in the place where our organization’s story began. This year’s theme for Celebrate the Promise is “Family is a Gift that Lasts Forever.”

Celebrate the Promise is an event that benefits children like Kayleigh,

Kayleigh was born to a mom who was experiencing addiction while pregnant and knew she could not parent Kayleigh the way she deserved. By making an adoption plan with Miriam’s Promise, Kayleigh was placed with Rebecca and John just days after being born. Rebecca and John had suffered years of struggling to conceive and experienced two miscarriages before reaching out to us. It was a joyous day for Rebecca and John when they brought Kayleigh home finally feeling like the family was complete.
